(if it 's important, the ipad was at 2% battery life but i figured that being plugged into the computer would charge it up normally.) but then, it got stuck in the dfu mode, and the ipad wasnt showing any signs of life. after waiting a really long time, i just unplugged it. i took it upstairs and started charging it but the next morning, it wont turn on or anything. what went wrong and how do i fix it? I jailbroke my ipad 2. i learned that you get siri on it by downloading spire. i also changed </ ipad/ > from true to false in ifile for spire to download. i rebooted my device and then went into cydia and started to download spire. it got to the point in the download when it said 'preparing spire ' and it would not move on from that position. i even left it downloading for about 5 hours and it was in the same position. any help?and how long does it take to download, averagely?
